Students from UPEI鈥檚 Faculty of Nursing are joining with nursing and medical students across Atlantic Canada to support health-care providers.

A Message from the President, encouraging members of the 69传媒community to enjoy the signs of spring and the holiday weekend during the COVID-19 pandemic, was issued to students, staff, and faculty on April 9, 2020.

Graduates from UPEI鈥檚 Faculty of Business accounting specialty had a perfect success rate on the most recent round of the Common Final Examination (CFE). 

The 69传媒Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) has launched a project to produce personal protective equipment (PPE) for health care workers on Prince Edward Island should a shortage occur because of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

UPEI鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation celebrated the 2019鈥�2020 season at the 51st annual 69传媒Athletic Awards 鈥淕ala鈥� on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4, recognizing outstanding student-athletes who have excelled in sport, the classroom, and serving the community. Because the student-athletes and coaches couldn鈥檛 gather in person, Panthers around the world were able to follow this year鈥檚 awards on the 69传媒Athletics and Recreation鈥檚 Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram social media channels.

Zack Montreuil, a fourth-year BBA student in UPEI鈥檚 Faculty of Business, was awarded the prestigious Frank H. Sobey Award at a ceremony earlier this year.

Kinesiologists from UPEI鈥檚 Active Living Lab are offering free online ergonomic consults for individuals on Prince Edward Island working from home to educate them about ergonomic best practices and provide suggestions on how to work as safely as possible during this period.
