Clayton Smith (BBA 2017) achieved a first for Prince Edward Island, scoring in the top one per cent of all writers in Canada. More than 8,700 candidates wrote the 2019 CFE.

鈥淪pecial recognition goes to our current and former accounting colleagues, as well as our cohort of outstanding sessional instructors,鈥 said Dr. Tarek Mady, interim dean of the Faculty of Business at UPEI. 鈥淏ecause of their dedication and commitment to teaching excellence and student mentorship, our accounting program is one of the best in the country.鈥

The Common Final Examination (CFE) is a three-day examination requiring candidates to demonstrate depth and breadth of competency development in accordance with the CPA Competency Map.
