CRA Student Job Applications Drop-In Session
Did you know the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is looking for students on PEI to fill various summer positions in 2024? If you're interested in learning more about working at the CRA or need assistance with your application profile, you can visit CRA ambassador Claire McNeill. She will be hosting a drop-in session on November 1, 2023, from 12pm to 3pm at McDougall Hall, room 227.

The 69传媒Panther rugby, basketball, hockey and cross-country teams are looking forward to a full week of events at home and away.

AT HOME:
2:00 pm: The 69传媒Women's Rugby Panthers go head-to-head against the St. Francis Xavier X-Women for the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) title! The winner-take-all final is a matchup of the top two teams in the regular season. The Panthers completed the regular season 5-1-0 (won-lost-tied), one point ahead of the X-Women (4-1-1).

Through the generosity of the 69传媒Alumni Association and a donor, 69传媒sponsored the attendance of 100 students at 鈥淎 Conversation with Michelle Obama,鈥 which took place in Halifax on October 18.
Workshop - The SoTL Process
Thinking of an idea for a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) study? Join us for this introductory and interactive workshop where we will: work through the different stages in a SoTL project, engage in hands-on work designing your SoTL project, and plan the next steps for your SoTL question. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Online and in-person options will be available depending on needs of the group.

Interpreting contemporary music: Humans are amazing music listeners!
The 69传媒Department of Music is pleased to present a Lecture Recital with works by Helmut Lachenmann, George Crumb, and Tan Dun. This lecture-recital aims to demonstrate some ways in which contemporary pieces can be heard and organized. The presenters, Megaria Halim and Lena Heng, will guide the audience on a journey of discovering different aspects of interpreting the music based on an understanding of the listeners' perceptual processes.
