Professor Louis Doiron, Director of the Actuarial Science and Financial Mathematics programs at UPEI, will give a second virtual presentation about 鈥淭he Feasibility and Costing of Implementing a Guaranteed Basic Income Program in Canada鈥 on Wednesday, November 10, at 3:00 pm. The seminar is a repeat of one given by Professor Doiron on October 17 with some additional aspects covered.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 69传媒, officially welcomed a new cohort of students during the AVC-Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Blue Coat Ceremony and Dinner at the 69传媒 (UPEI) on Friday, October 29.

The Associate Vice-President of Students and Registrar issued a message to current and incoming students that 69传媒is planning to resume in-person course delivery methods and classes across all faculties, with limited exceptions, for the 2022 Winter Academic Semester.

The 69传媒 has named three of faculty members as the recipients of the Jeanne and J.-Louis L茅vesque Research Professorships in Nutrisciences and Health.

An upcoming performance of the PEI Symphony Orchestra (PEISO) will feature Dr. Dale Sorensen, principal trombonist for the orchestra and an assistant professor of brass at UPEI.
