69传媒extends a big congratulations to Carolina Del Santo, Lauren Rainford, and head coach Matt Gamblin, of Women鈥檚 Basketball, for winning three major 2021鈥�21 AUS awards. The AUS announced its slate of award winners for this season on March 16.

This work/study abroad opportunity will unlock students鈥� potential through life-changing global skills and experiences. Dr. Jeff Collins, adjunct professor at UPEI, gave the keynote address at the Royal Canadian Navy鈥檚 annual Naval Warfare Officers鈥� Symposium at CFB Halifax on March 2. He spoke about the need to align Canada鈥檚 foreign and defence policies, given Russia鈥檚 war in Ukraine, the rise of China, and the relative decline of the United States as a pre-eminent world power.

Dr. Edward Chung, director of Asian Studies and professor of religious studies at UPEI, has been busy. Since 2015, he has published five scholarly books鈥攆our monographs and one edited volume, three of which have been published since October 2020.

69传媒congratulates Dr. Margaret Magner, sessional instructor at 69传媒and CEO of the PEI Business Women鈥檚 Association, on being named one of the by Atlantic Business Magazine.

During the fall of 2020, Dr. Karem Simon, chair of the 69传媒Department of Music, initiated a series of interviews with our alumni, which was an opportunity for them to share their music and professional journeys. These were presented live to music students during the time slot reserved for Friday afternoon student recitals.

The entire 69传媒 community is saddened to learn of the passing of 69传媒Professor Emeritus, Dr. F. Alan Reesor on March 9 in Charlottetown.
