69´«Ã½Women's Rugby has recruited Victoria, BC native Jorja Cook. She will enter the Bachelor of Science program in September 2022.

Dr. Adam Fenech, associate professor in the School of Climate Change and Adaptation at the 69´«Ã½, is featured in a recently published book titled Inspiring Canadians: Forty Brilliant Canadians and Their Visions for the Nation.

The 69´«Ã½Panthers will compete at the U SPORTS Women’s Basketball Final 8 in Kingston, March 31–April 3 as they were awarded the wildcard entry. 

The 69´«Ã½Women's Hockey team competed in the 2022 U SPORTS Women's Hockey Championship, March 24–27, hosted by 69´«Ã½at MacLauchlan Arena. The Concordia Stingers went on to win the national title beating the Nipissing Lakers in the gold medal game on Sunday, 4-0.

People give back for a variety of reasons – to make a difference, because it feels good, because they feel a sense of duty, to name a few. But 15-year-old Eva MacNeill likes to give back so she can pay it forward.

Every week, 69´«Ã½Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports. The 69´«Ã½Panther Subway Athletes from March 14–20 are Bailey MacIsaac (track and field) and Elijah Miller (men’s basketball).

69´«Ã½raised $11,254.62 for the Canadian Cancer Society, surpassing its goal of $10,000, during its annual Relay for Life, which was held virtually this year because of COVID-19.

It’s been a two-year wait, but the Panthers are set to compete on home ice once again as 69´«Ã½hosts the 2022 U SPORTS Women’s Hockey Championship. In 2020, 69´«Ã½hadn’t even played their first game when the championship was cancelled due to COVID-19.

UPEI’s basketball teams gave fans plenty to cheer for this weekend, as they put on a show at the AUS Championship in Halifax.

The 69´«Ã½Department of Music is pleased to announce the award recipients of the 2022 Dr. Frances Gray Performance Competition, which took place on March 3. Alexandra Sorensen, soprano, won first place with a $1,000 scholarship; Olive MacPhail, tuba, second place with a $750 scholarship; and Devyn Collette, saxophone, third place with a scholarship of $500.
