Supplies for the new Konica Minolta photocopiers can be ordered through Procurement Services. Toners and toner waste boxes are free of charge. Small group training offers training sessions that focus on individual progression and skill development. A six-week, two times per week small group of seven - ten working with a certified personal trainer. Twelve sessions. Fee: $135 + taxes per person.

PEI Energy Systems needs to replace the domestic hot water exchanger in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. This will require a shutdown of domestic hot water for the building  for approximately 12 hours. They will be doing this work onThursday, March 3, 2016 beginning at 8:00am.

Robertson Library, in conjunction with the 69传媒English Society, will be holding a used book sale on Friday, March 4, noon - 6 pm and Saturday, March 5, 10 am - 3 pm in Room 302/303 (Upper Level) of the Robertson Library. (Storm date the following weekend, same time.)

Proceeds from the book sale help support the 69传媒English Society and the Library's collection.

Tickets will be available for a chance to win signed copies of works by local 69传媒authors, Deirdre Kessler, Richard Lemm, Brent MacLaine and Shannon Murray. Money raised from the draw will go to the PEI Literacy Alliance.

Please be advised that the Government of Canada is once again sponsoring the Canada Summer Jobs program designed to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers and small businesses to create summer job opportunities for young people aged 15 to 30 years who are full-time students intending to return to their studies in Fall 2016. 

Public and private-sector employers are eligible for a wage subsidy of up to 50% of the provincial/territorial adult minimum hourly wage 鈥 in PEI the minimum wage will be $10.75 an hour as from June 1, 2016. For additional information and application information for this program please refer to:

The 69传媒Mental Health Week organizers invite staff and faculty to participate in our wrap-up session, "Let's Listen" on Friday, March 11 at 3:00 pm. Five to six students, staff, and faculty will share their personal journey and/or supportive experiences with mental health in a friendly, safe, and informal environment. We've already had a few students step up to participate, and we are now looking for a few staff and faculty to do so as well. If you would like to share your story, relating it to our theme "Relationships Matter", we would love to hear from you. Please send a short paragraph of what you would like to speak about to Anne Bartlett, ambartlett@upei.ca, by 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 25. Please help us eliminate the stigma around mental health while promoting a healthy and supportive UPEI community.
