69传媒Research Services and Graduate Studies is very excited to be offering our eighth Student Program for Research Engagement & Excellence (SPREE), formerly the SPUR program, from June 13-August 22, 2024. Each week, there will be a Lunch and Learn session taking place on campus from 12-1 pm.
Why sign up? Participants will
- explore research-based career options
- receive help and mentorship while preparing for an end-of-summer poster competition with cash prizes up to $500
- enjoy the provided lunch at every session
- develop research skills with skill-building workshops
Who is eligible?
Undergraduate students working on a summer research project and graduate students with a research component may register for the program.
How do participants sign up?
Those interested in participating are asked to register via before June 13.

Everyone is invited to the public presentation by a group of 69传媒students and staff who traveled to Ghana recently with the chapter of 69传媒Medical Global Brigades and provided volunteer service to public health projects and mobile medical clinics to under-served communities. Come and hear the story of the group of 28 69传媒volunteers, including the work they did to make the trip, the service they provided while in Ghana, and the impacts on their own learning and development.

This basic one-day course offers lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. - Standard First Aid/CPR (two-day session)
June 24 and 25, 2024

This comprehensive two-day course offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need enhanced training as a work requirement.
The cost of registration will be covered by HSE for all 69传媒faculty and staff, including students who require training for on-campus employment. Students who do not require training for on-campus employment are welcome to attend; however, the cost of registration will not be covered. Please note that lunch will not be provided.
As space is limited, please register by contacting HSE@upei.ca by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 12.
Come join us in the Teaching and Learning Centre for a re-design caf茅. Bring an existing assessment or activity or an idea for one, chat with colleagues and our team, set goals, and pick up resources to help with the process. This event will take place on June 11 from 10:30 am to noon.
The deadline for Animal Care Protocol Submissions (new, renewal, or amendment) is Friday, July 5, for the July meeting.
Please note that as of June 1, 2020, all animal user protocols must be submitted through 69传媒Researcher Portal at https://upei.researchservicesoffice.com/Romeo.Researcher/
For new protocols, select "applications," and for renewal or amendment protocols, select "events."
69传媒ACC SOPs and codes of practice can be accessed through my69传媒at .
Those protocols received after the deadline will be reviewed the following month. The Committee requires at least one month for processing applications.
