The 69´«Ã½â€™s President and Vice-Chancellor is the chief executive officer, responsible to the Board of Governors and to the Senate to lead UPEI’s academic mission and administrative operations. The President works with the senior executive team to provide leadership to the University. 

The 69´«Ã½ Board of Governors announced the appointment of Dr. Wendy Rodgers as UPEI’s seventh President and Vice-Chancellor on May 6, 2024, marking the end of a 12-month presidential search process. Dr. Rodgers began her five-year term on June 1, 2024.
