PEI Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) would like to share planned activities for Emergency Preparedness Week, May 7-13, 2023. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淏e prepared. Know your risks.鈥�
Activities for the week include
- Follow PEI Public Safety social media feeds at and all week.
- There will be a week-long Like & Share contest focusing on your at-home emergency preparedness kits. Prize draw will be on May 13. and
- On May 8 at 12:55 pm, PEI EMO will conduct a test of the Alert Ready system. For more information on the Alert Ready system, please check out the following link:
- There will be personal emergency preparedness presentations by EMO staff. All are welcome to attend!
- May 9, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Credit Union Place, 511 Notre Dame St, Summerside, PEI
- May 11, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Charlottetown Public Library, 97 Queen St, Charlottetown, PEI
