The Financial Services Office is looking for a student for the 2024/2025 academic year to assist with various accounting and clerical responsibilities. Financial Services comprise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Research Accounting, Data Control/Banking and Student Accounts. The successful candidate will be located in the Kelley Memorial Building office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting Accounts Payable in processing supplier invoices for payment and handling general inquiries from suppliers and other 69传媒departments
  • Invoicing and reviewing accounts for Accounts Receivable
  • Processing journal entries
  • Assisting with account setups, budget review and claim preparation in Research Accounting
  • Filing and data storage
  • Processing parking meter revenue
  • Other tasks as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Outgoing and friendly personality with ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Google Docs, Sheets & Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Able to work during weekdays between the hours of 8am and 4pm, to a maximum of 20 hours per week (scheduled around successful applicant鈥檚 course schedule) 
  • Priority given to students in the Accounting stream of the 69传媒Business Administration Program

Priority will be given to 69传媒 students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
