The Office of Research Services, in conjunction with the Teaching and Learning Centre, will provide an information session for 69传媒applicants to the Fall 2024 NSERC Discovery Grants (DG) competition. The session will be presented by Dr. Aitazaz Farooque, Professor & Associate Dean (Interim), School of Climate Change and Adaptation, and will provide insight into the DG evaluation process and offer tips for applicants to help improve their submissions. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A period.

Dr. Farooque has garnered over $15M in research funding from numerous provincial, federal, and industry funding agencies and has served on various committees to evaluate research grant applications. Dr. Farooque currently serves on the Civil, Industrial and Systems Engineering evaluation group for NSERC DGs.

Bring your lunch (treats provided!) and join us on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 12:00-1:30 pm in the Teaching and Learning Centre in the Robertson Library  annex (RL230). There will be an option to join virtually for those who are unable to attend in person.
