AVC SAVMA Trails for Tails 5K Run/Walk
The Atlantic Veterinary College SAVMA Chapter is excited to present the second annual Trails For Tails 5K Run/Walk, sanctioned by the PEI Roadrunners!
This run will take place on Sunday, September 22, at 9 am. The route for this 5km run/walk is an "out-and-back" on the Confederation Trail, starting and ending at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The public is invited to attend (ages 10+), and ALL fitness levels are welcome.
The $25 registration fee includes a participant medal and a small donation. Donations support two initiatives: The Pegasus Helping Hands Fund and valuable leadership development opportunities for AVC students. The Pegasus Helping Hands fund was established by the Pegasus Family Foundation, AVC Classes of 2001 and 2011, and other donors. This fund assists clients of the AVC Veterinary Teaching Hospital, who are on limited incomes, with surgical or medical care of their cat or dog.
