The week of October 10–16 is a busy one for the 69´«Ã½Panthers as they take on opponents at home and away.

Dr. Trevor Jain, director of UPEI’s BSc in Paramedicine program, was presented with the inaugural Doug Dennis Award for Public Service Excellence by the Community Foundation of PEI during its annual gala dinner on September 21.

Every week, 69´«Ã½Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. 69´«Ã½Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for October 3–9 are Kelly Clements (women’s hockey) and Salem Farag (men’s soccer).

The 69´«Ã½Women’s Hockey team is embarking on a new journey this season, and rookie head coach Sean Fisher hopes to build something special while staying true to what it means to be a Panther. 

The 2022–23 season promises to be like no other for the 69´«Ã½Men’s Hockey program, and if the pre-season was any indication, it could be a successful one as well.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 69´«Ã½ (UPEI) is pleased to congratulate Dr. Étienne Côté, professor, Department of Companion Animals, AVC, on his election to the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS).

The 69´«Ã½ is pleased to announce the appointment of alumnus Paul Young as Chief Operating Officer for the University’s new Faculty of Medicine, effective October 24, 2022.

After a successful showing at training camp, three former Mount Academy Saints—Rachel Richards, Orianna MacNeil, and Kierra St. Peter—have earned their way on to the 69´«Ã½Women’s Hockey roster.
