The 69传媒 invites expressions of interest from or recommendations of individuals, external to the University, who might be considered for appointment as members to the 69传媒Board of Governors.

Dr. Caroline Ritter, Canada Research Chair in Veterinary Social Epidemiology at UPEI, has been awarded a SSHRC Insight Grant totalling $212,060 for a project titled 鈥淎n application of cognitive dissonance theory to decisions affecting animal welfare.鈥�

Every week, 69传媒Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 69传媒Panther Athletes of the Week for September 25鈥揙ctober 1 are Ria Johnston (women鈥檚 rugby) and Evan Couturier (men鈥檚 soccer).

The 69传媒Panther hockey, rugby and cross country teams are looking forward to a full week of events at home and away.

No one knew what to expect from the 2022鈥�23 69传媒Women鈥檚 Hockey squad鈥攁nd no one more so than new head coach Sean Fisher, who inherited a young roster eager to prove themselves. The uncertainty surrounding the team quickly shifted to excitement, as they won four of their first five games, paving the way to one of the best seasons (17-9-2 record) in program history.
