The 69传媒Faculty of Nursing, in collaboration with the PEI Department of Health and Wellness, held its Scrub Coat Ceremony on February 27, 2024, at the 69传媒Performing Arts Centre. The ceremony was a celebration of 67 first-year undergraduate nursing students and 16 first-year accelerated nursing students.

Dr. Edward MacDonald, CM, an award-winning professor of history at 69传媒and Island historian, will give his 鈥渓ast lecture鈥� to students in UPEI鈥檚 University 100 program on Wednesday, March 13, at 4:30 pm in SDU Main Building, Room 117. 

In January 2024, the Atlantic Veterinary College鈥檚 dairy vet team again went to Kenya as part of the partnership between Farmers Helping Farmers.

An organizing committee, made up of 69传媒faculty and staff, has announced that a full-day Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigenization, and Decolonization (EDIID) Symposium will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Dr. Carla DiGiorgio's new book, Inclusive Education: A Global Perspective, will be launched on March 12 at 4:30 pm in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building.

Every week, 69传媒Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 69传媒Panther Athletes of the Week for February 19鈥�25, 2024, are Alaere Peterside (women鈥檚 track and field) and Colin Blanchard, Sidiki Diakite, Owen Headley, and John David (men鈥檚 track and field relay team).
