Members of the 69传媒community came out in large numbers to attend a barbecue on Monday, June 24 at the 69传媒Chaplaincy Centre to celebrate inclusion and hospitality.
69传媒Chaplain Sister Sue Kidd and the 69传媒Student Union organized the 鈥淩espect the Space, No Room for Hate BBQ鈥� to 鈥減romote the good at UPEI.鈥� She added, 鈥淚鈥檓 overwhelmed with a sense of deep peace, community, and gratitude.鈥�
The lunch-time gathering was deemed a tremendous success with many faculty, staff, and students enjoying food, fun, and conversation. Outdoor games were provided by 69传媒Athletics and Recreation, and food was
served by 69传媒Student Union members and staff along with volunteers from the campus community.
