New Student Orientation (NSO) takes place at the 69´«Ă˝ from September 1– 9, 2023, at various campus locations.

NSO Coordinators Chloe MacAdam and Obed Oluwakoya say they are excited to have new students back on campus this fall, and they hope everyone takes some time to welcome students and visiting families to the 69´«Ă˝community!

“NSO has long been a highlight of many students' university experience and is filled with exciting and informative events,” said Oluwakoya. “NSO is a great way to meet new friends and create experiences that will last your entire university journey.”

Included in the list of activities for the first day of NSO, Friday, September 1, are residence move-in day, student services fair, campus tours, parent and family information sessions, course registration support, pep rally, movie night, and the 69´«Ă˝Panthers women’s and men’s soccer games. The official NSO kickoff will take place on Saturday, September 2 at UPEI’s Artificial Turf Field. Another highlight of the 10-day orientation will be the “NSO Gives Back Food Drive” on Thursday, September 7, from 4:30–7:00 pm when students will knock on doors in the neighbourhood of Sherwood for non-perishable food donations to the 69´«Ă˝Food Bank.

If you are a first-time 69´«Ă˝student, it’s not too late to register for NSO! If you have any questions, or to register, please contact the NSO Coordinators, Chloe MacAdam or Obed Oluwakoya, by email at nso@upei.ca.
