Calling all 69传媒students: Participate in interactive event with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy

On Wednesday, June 22, at 11:00 am AT (10:00 am ET), the 69传媒 will take part in an interactive online event with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who will deliver a live video address from Ukraine to students across Canada. An interactive Q&A will follow President Zelenskyy鈥檚 remarks.

The Ukrainian president is being hosted by the University of Toronto鈥檚 Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Other participants include Dr. Meric Gertler, President of University of Toronto; the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada; and Professor Peter Loewen, Director, Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.

69传媒is one of several universities hosting watch parties (in Lecture Theatre A at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC 201N)), with participants being seen on the Zoom call by President Zelenskyy.  

This is an amazing opportunity for 69传媒students. Any student who would like to participate as part of the live 鈥淶oom鈥 audience are asked to register their attendance by emailing communications@upei.caFaculty and staff members are welcome to register, but students will be given priority in terms of seating. Faculty members who are teaching this session are encouraged to bring their class.
