Every week, 69传媒Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports. This week鈥檚 69传媒Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for October 18 to 24 are Charlotte Branchflower (women鈥檚 rugby) and Ehab Moustafa (men鈥檚 soccer).

Branchflower is a first-year science major from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and a fly half on the 69传媒women鈥檚 rugby team. She recorded a try and scored ten points for the Panthers in their semi-final game against St. Francis Xavier. 鈥淐harlotte had her best AUS performance of the season,鈥� said head coach James Voye. 鈥淪he has really matured and developed more confidence as a player this season. Congratulations on your first AUS try, and being named Player of the Game and now 69传媒Athlete of the Week!鈥�

Moustafa is a first-year kinesiology student from Stratford, PEI, and a striker on the 69传媒men鈥檚 soccer team. He scored a against Memorial University and played well in a 1鈥�1 draw with Saint Mary鈥檚 University. 鈥淓hab is a real physical presence with a good touch around the goal,鈥� said head coach Lewis Page. 鈥淗e showed all those attributes in both our games this weekend.鈥�
