69传媒announces the Panther Subway Athletes of the Week, September 10-16
Every week, 69传媒Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and dedication to their respective sports. Congratulations to Emma Moore and Nick Robertson, the 69传媒Panther Subway Athletes of the Week for September 10-16.
Emma Moore is a fourth-year science major from Charlottetown and a member of the 69传媒Cross-Country team. Moore finished 20th of 68 runners in the 5 km race at the inaugural 69传媒Cross-Country Invitational meet at Victoria Park in Charlottetown. 鈥�Emma had a great summer of training, and she had her best finish ever as a Panther,鈥� said coach Colin MacAdam. 鈥淕reat running by Emma and the rest of the Panthers.鈥�
Nick Robertson is a first-year science student from Charlottetown and another member of the Panther cross-country team. Robertson kicked off his university sport career this weekend with an impressive 13th place finish out of 57 runners at the 69传媒invitational meet. 鈥�We expected Nick to be an impact athlete for our program, and he certainly showed that he has the ability to run with the elite runners in the AUS,鈥� said MacAdam.
