69传媒Iranian Society hosts Persian New Year Celebration
The 69传媒Iranian Society invites the community to the 69传媒campus for an evening of live music, dancing, entertainment, and a Persian/Afghani dinner and dessert to celebrate the Persian New Year, Nowruz.
Nowruz, literally "New Day" in Persian, has been celebrated by worldwide as the beginning of the new year for over 3,000 years in the , the , the , , and the .
The festive evening will begin Sunday, March 20 at 6:30 pm at McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.
General admission is $25 while VIP tickets are $40 each. Admission is free for children six years old and under. After March 18, ticket prices will be $50 for general admission and $75 for VIP tickets. Tickets for the event are available at .
