UPEI鈥檚 Adam Fenech in Paris for UN Conference on Climate Change

An estimated 40,000 are in Paris for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, including UPEI鈥檚 Dr. Adam Fenech.

Dr. Fenech is director of UPEI鈥檚 Climate Research Lab. He has worked extensively in climate change since 1988, including as a member of the United Nation鈥檚 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

Dr. Fenech is in Paris as an official observer to the conference. He has been sharing his thoughts on the conference in a of in . He also spoke of his optimism for the outcome of the conference in an interview with .

鈥淚 don鈥檛 think we鈥檙e going to meet the big target that we鈥檙e looking for, but I think there鈥檚 going to be enough momentum coming out of this meeting here in Paris to make a difference in terms of combatting climate change.鈥
