Dr. M. Jake Pushie, Molecular and Environmental Science Research Group, University of Saskatchewan will present a research seminar on Friday, July 19th, 2013 at 10:30 am. Dr. Pushie鈥檚 presentation is entitled 鈥淐omputational Chemistry and Synchrotron Radiation Illuminate the Bioinorganic Chemistry鈥�
Dr. Chris Hauton will be giving a seminar on Thursday, July 18, at 2:00 pm in AVC Lecture Theatre A.
His seminar is entitled: "Is there any scope to exploit the crustacean immune system for disease control - Have we reached a dead end and, if not, where might we go next?"

The second week of Junior AVC Vet Camp is scheduled for July 15-19. Students in grades 7-9 will be "living the dream" exploring the world of veterinary medicine at AVC. They will be participating in activities such as pathology, anatomy, toxicology, pet first aid, a visit to a dairy farm, dog鈥�
Kicks for Cam is a fundraising event at the 69传媒turf and track on July 14 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm for Cameron O'Hanley. Cameron sustained serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, June 17th and was airlifted to Halifax where he will remain for an undetermined amount of time while he鈥�
A seminar with Dr. Claudiu Gradinaru, Associate Professor of Physics, University of Toronto Mississauga, Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences, will be held on Tuesday, July 9 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The presentation is titled "'Fuzz' Structures: on the Role of Electrostatics in鈥�

69传媒Clarinet Professor Karem J. Simon will collaborate with organist Leo Marchildon in performance on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. Dunstan鈥檚 Basilica. The program will feature several works for clarinet alone, a solo organ piece, and a transcription of Alessandro Marcello鈥檚 Oboe鈥�
Jason Ellis, UPEI鈥檚 Turning Technologies representative will give a presentation from 12:00-1:00 pm on designing effective questions, teaching techniques and new response system developments.
