Do you like to sing? Join the 69传媒Multicultural Choir and Song Circle! Our choir encourages experienced singers and new singing enthusiasts to join us in sharing world songs from different countries and cultures music.
Rehearsals take place every Wednesday, starting September 10, from 4:45-5:45鈥�
Dr. David Jakeman, College of Pharmacy, Department of Chemistry, Dalhousie University will present a seminar on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 12:30 pm. Dr. Jakeman's presentation is entitled "Enzymes, Carbohydrates and Natural Products". The seminar will be held in the Regis and Joan Duffy鈥�
The Scholarships, Awards and Financial Aid team from the Registrar鈥檚 Office will be holding information sessions for all interested students on 鈥淗ow to Apply for Scholarships and Awards鈥� at UPEI.
The first day of sessions will be held on Wednesday, September 10 at 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm鈥�

Join people around the world observing the Moon on this night. Volunteers from the Physics Department and Charlottetown RASC will teach you about the Moon, help you identify some of the Moon鈥檚 features using just your eyes or binoculars, and show you stunning telescope views of the lunar surface.鈥�

Dr. Cynthia Blanton (Idaho State University) will give a talk entitled "Iron Status and Cognitive Function in College Women" on Friday, September 26th.
Dr. Blanton is a Fulbright Scholar in Nutrisciences & Health and is on campus this fall working with Dr. Marva Sweeney-Nixon and Dr. Kathy鈥�

It鈥檚 a chance to tour campus, pay for tuition and other services, pick up your ID card, kick-off O-Week, shop at the Bookstore, and meet staff, faculty, your Student Union鈥�
Kieran J. Hennessey will present his Master of Education thesis defence on Friday, August 29, at 1:00 pm in room AVC 286A N. Thesis title: College Students from the Margins: Journeys of Persistence and Early Leaving. All are welcome to attend.
UPEI's Deirdre Kessler will launch her latest children's book on Thursday afternoon, August 28, 3:00-4:00 pm at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery.
The book is a 48-page story set in 1864. BORN! A foal, five kittens, and Confederation is illustrated by Brenda Jones and published by the Acorn鈥�
