The Ocean Frontier Institute鈥檚 mandate includes knowledge mobilization
and as part of that effort, we鈥檙e hosting a conference. Our inaugural event 鈥� called 鈥淥cean Frontier 2018: North Atlantic Opportunities鈥� 鈥� will be held Oct. 9-12, in St. John鈥檚, NL.
The conference will examine the ocean of opportunity that OFI research is helping to discover in the North Atlantic. Learning about the ocean helps us understand our connections to the sea. It also identifies what鈥檚 required to responsibly develop our ocean resources while we take steps to protect marine ecosystems, reduce pollution and combat climate change.
