69´«Ã½Athletics and Recreation invites the public to share photos of their backyard rink from anywhere in PEI. Entrants could win a visit from 69´«Ã½Panther women's and men's varsity players, as well as tickets to see a Panther varsity hockey game of their choice. Email pictures, including name, contact information, and a brief description of what your rink means to your family and neighborhood, to panthercentral@upei.ca. Contest ends January 19 at 5:00 pm.

When: Friday, May 2 to Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Where: Stanley Bridge Country Resort. Cost to participants: $200, which includes four nights accommodation, meals and snacks. Participants must be registered by Friday, February 21. Is Time to Write for You? Your project must be at a stage where sustained writing time makes sense. Your research and/or data collection and analysis must be completed to the point that you are ready to write. You must also be prepared to commit to the full program: a total of 3½ days focused on writing. The retreat is open to tenured and tenure stream 69´«Ã½ faculty in any Department/Faculty/School. The last day for shipping out courier packages and letter mail through Shipping & Receiving will be Monday, December 23. All items have to be to the Shipping desk no later than 2:00 pm that day. Shipping will only be receiving incoming packages on Tuesday, December 24 and will be closing at 12:00 pm that day. Regular service will resume on January 2, 2014.
