UPEI's Work-Integrated Learning department is partnering with Mi鈥檏maq Printing and Design to provide support for Orange Shirt Day / National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Mi鈥檏maq Printing and Design (MPD) is a social enterprise dedicated to the celebration and education of Mi'kmaq culture. This time of year, Islanders flock to MPD to purchase their orange shirts and show their support for those effected by the Canadian residential school system.

Students can join us from 10:00 am-2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 for an afternoon of volunteering with fellow 69传媒students. We'll be helping MPD get prepared for Orange Shirt Day by setting up their shop space out of St. Paul's church in Charlottetown, organizing inventory, folding shirts, and getting orders ready for their soon-to-be influx of eager customers. Students will gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive difference in their community.

For more information and to register, students can  before 4:00 pm on Friday, September 17th.
